🐉 The Delicious Zòngzi (粽子) Every year in early June, families across China celebrate one of the most colorful and meaningful traditional holidays: the Dragon Boat Festival, known in Chinese as 端午节 (Duānwǔ Jié). This year, it falls on June 8th, and one delicious tradition stands out: eating zòngzi (粽子) — sticky rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves. --- 🍙 What is Zòngzi (粽子)? Zòngzi are pyramid-shaped dumplings made with glutinous rice, filled with sweet or savory ingredients, and wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves. They’re then steamed or boiled and enjoyed warm.
