 Learning (学习 xuéxí) a language (语言 yǔyán) isn’t just about memorizing words or passing a test. It’s about opening your heart to a new way of seeing the world — through culture, history, friendship, and human connection.

❤️ I love (爱 ài) languages. 

Every time I travel to a country where a different language is spoken, I try to learn at least a few words — and that simple effort lets me feel something deeper. It allows me to vibrate with the people, to sense their humor, their kindness, their way of thinking.

Today, with technology and AI, we don’t need to speak dozens of languages to communicate. But we do need to understand, to listen, and to connect with others cultures.

🌏 From Hangzhou  Medinfo 2017 to Taipei Medinfo 2025: My Journey with the Chinese Language

A few years ago, I studied a little Chinese when I went to China (中国 Zhōngguó) in 2017 — and I was fascinated. The characters, the rhythm, the wisdom encoded in the language, it all left a mark on me.

Now, I'm picking up Chinese again because I’m preparing for a trip to Taiwan. And this time, it’s not just about travel — it’s about diving deeper into the rich tapestry of Chinese culture (文化 wénhuà), language, and history (历史 lìshǐ). And not just from China, but from across Asia — a region with endless stories and values from which we all have a lot to learn.

💬 Final Thought

Learning a language is learning empathy, curiosity, and respect.
Even a single word can be a bridge.
