Teacher's Day in China 教师节 Jiàoshī Jié

Teachers in China 中国教 Zhōngguó jiàoshī celebrate Teacher's Day (教师节 Jiàoshī Jié) annually on September 10th. This date was chosen to coincide with the birth of Confucius, a revered figure in Chinese history and education, whose teachings emphasized the importance of education. 


👉 While it isn't a public holiday, it's a day to honor and appreciate teachers with various traditions and observances. 

📍Teachers may receive bonuses, a few hours off, or gifts from students and families.
